Scholarship Info
Yayasan Peneraju, since its inception in 2012, introduced 6 sponsorship accounting programmes (full time and part time study mode) to suit different entry points ranging from SPM leavers to working professionals.
These programmes target to support aspiring professional accountants with highly sought after professional accounting foundation certification (ie. CAT) and professional accounting certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA Australia, ICAEW and MICPA-CAANZ.
This programme aims to increase the number of certified professional accountants via the fastest route to a career in accountancy. This programme is targeted towards young and motivated candidates to start their professional accounting certification after their tertiary studies.

Criteria
Peneraju Profesional Akauntan Muda (PPAM) Category A
This programme is targeted at Bumiputera and SPM leavers who are interested in furthering studies in fundamental level certificates such as Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and professional certificates such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The entry requirements are as below:
  • Bumiputera
  • 18 years old below
  • Minimum 5A’s in SPM or O-level including English AND Mathematics, or

Peneraju Profesional Akauntan Muda (PPAM) Category B
This programme is targeted at Bumiputera with Diploma in Accounting or fundamental accounting certificate holders who are interested in furthering studies to obtain a professional accounting certification. The entry requirements are as below:
  • Bumiputera
  • 22 years old below
  • Diploma in Accounting with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, or
  • Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) with average passing mark of 65% and above
Amount
  • This programme is sponsored in a convertible loan basis where the tuition fees, annual subscription fees, initial registration fees, exam fees and exemption fees, allowances and accommodation, will be put under a loan basis.
  • However, scholars are only required to pay only a maximum of 20% from the total of the mentioned fees upon completion of the programme (terms and conditions apply). 
  • Further reductions of the payable amount will be subjected to Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (Yayasan Peneraju)’s discretion and the scholar’s performance.
