Scholarship Info

The New Zealand Scholarship, ASEAN Scholar Award for the year 2017 is now open  to Malaysian students who qualify for the academic year 2017.
Scholarships under the New Zealand Foreign Affairs and Trade is offering scholarships for the study level of Bachelors, Masters and PhD in Agricultural Development, Renewable Energy, Disaster Risk Management, Public Sector  Management and Private Sector Development  .

Deadline

Mar 31, 2017

Criteria

Open to all Malaysians aged 18 years to 39 years
Have leadership capabilities.
Not par of any military training
Qualifies for a student visa in New Zealand
Meets prescribed academic qualifications including English (refer qualification at university applied)
Neverhad a schoalrship recinded by the Government of New Zealand due to a poor academic record
Must return to their home countries within a period of 2 years post-graduation to help contribute to the development of their country of origin. More information on eligibility requirements please click here.

Amount

Tuition fees
Living allowance (the amount depends on the basic cost of living)
Basic Allowance (Paid once only for accommodation, textbooks and other needs of college studies)
Health insurance and travel
Allocations for travel tickets from home country to New Zealand and return ticket to home country after graduation
Allowances for research assistants and research costs for PhD research students

Preferred Discipline

Agricultural Development, Renewable Energy, Disaster Risk Management, Public Sector  Management and Private Sector Development  .
